When you think about how often we rely on this system to communicate even with those around us, then you can only imagine its applications when communicating with someone like your Virtual Assistant, no matter where they’re located.
Most noticeably, the Internet of Things is being used to overcome some of the biggest barriers in business such as the need for face to face communication, that allows for communication through body language at the same time. Employed correctly, you could fool yourself into thinking that your Virtual Assistant is in the room next door, suddenly the world has become much smaller.

When you couple this with face-to-face calls via Skype or other online meeting environments, instant messaging and emails, the only thing you won’t be able to do at the end of the day is give your Virtual Assistant a pat on the back (at least not in person, not yet).
