Hiring offshore staff requires a lot of time, and isn’t as easy as it sounds. Some of the more complicated areas we cover include pre-screening applicants, reference checking, and ensuring payroll and HR requirements are met. Another side to the process involves advertising across multiple sites, searching large databases, short-listing, collecting references, testing… the list really is endless!
Full time assistants work 9 hours with a 1 hour lunch break, while part time assistants work 4 hours per day. They are available to work your preferred time zone.
The first 6 months of employment, the successful applicant is on a probation period. During this 6 months, if you wish you can terminate their employment within 24 hours. After this probation period you are required to give 14 days’ notice.
Of course you can! You’re entitled to trial the successful applicant for up to 1 month before making a final decision; however you will be required to pay for the trial in advance.
A great starting point is making sure the job description is appealing, well written, and includes the benefits of working for your company. During the interview process, sell sell sell those benefits.
Our “Time Tracker Application” automatically logs the hours worked by the contractor, and takes random snapshots of their screen every 10 minutes.  
It’s no different than with staff in your office – all you need to do is ensure you’re approachable and communication remains open and easy.
This is entirely up to you whether or not you want the employee to work on public holidays. Bear in mind some employees will request days off for their own Philippine public holidays.
Any overtime worked is charged at the normal hourly rate
Due to the nature of the contract, you only pay for hours worked – you do not pay sick or holiday pay.
Both Visa and Mastercard are accepted, and you will not incur any surcharges for using a credit card. Our Australian customers can also use direct debit.
The first invoice you’ll receive is for the remaining work days of that month, and needs to be paid prior to employment commencing. Following this you’ll receive an invoice on the 1st of each month, for the month in advance. This invoice will be adjusted according to actual hours worked previously. Your credit card will automatically be charged on the 5th of each month, as it’s important to ensure contractors are paid on time.

Through careful screening and selection criteria, we choose only the best resumes to forward for you to review. From there, you can choose the most suitable applicants for the interview process. If you feel that none of the applicants are suitable, we will continue our search.
As with all hiring processes you need to allow time to complete necessary paperwork. Such as the Client Services Agreement and their preferred method of payment form, before employment can commence. Once the appropriate paperwork is completed we set up their “time tracking software” to ensure they’re ready for their first shift. Generally we expect all this to be completed within 3 days.
We require our contractors to have a quiet room where they can work uninterrupted. It is also a strict necessity that they have a reliable, secure DSL Internet connection and a suitable computer.
